It is said that from 1593 onwards, Galileo would regularly visit the Specola of Costozza, as a guest of the noble Trento family.
This is where he observed Jupiter, he studied the planets and the comets; and still today, stargazing from the Specola is without a doubt an extraordinary sight.
We made the Specola our own, as well as the surrounding fields with the Monte Croce, in order to make it the most representative image of the past that becomes future.
